Over Protective Dog Attacks

One dog became so protective of its owner that it attacked another person when an argument started. The only problem was that the argument was between mother and daughter and the victim was the 21-year-old girl. When the dog sensed that something was wrong between the two women, it attached the young girl and bit her in the head.

The mother beseeched the dog to release its grip but it refused. Unable to remove the canine, the woman then stabbed the dog several times in the neck, finally prompting it to let go. While the woman was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition, the dog was brought to the town shelter by animal control officers. The dog was later put to sleep by a veterinarian at the animal hospital.
