Toddler in Critical Condition
A family is praying for the well-being of a toddler boy that is in critical condition in Phoenix, Arizona.
The toddler's mother called the fire department last week when she found her son at the bottom of a swimming pool on his scooter. She jumped in and pulled him out. Reports say that his grandfather then stepped in to provide CPR. When the EMTs arrived, the boy was not breathing nor did he have a pulse, but was said to have a heartbeat. Luckily, the boy started breathing when he arrived at the hospital.
The 2- or 3-year-old boy appears to have ridden his scooter by the pool which was not protected by a safety fence. Thanks to the quick action of his mother and grandfather he is still alive, but is reported to be in critical condition.
