Two Fatal Accidents Reported in Phoenix
Two fatal car accidents in Phoenix, Arizona kept emergency personnel busy last week.
The first incident happened on a busy street between a motorcycle and a SUV. Both vehicles were heading west when the SUV tried to make a left-hand turn in front of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist was then forced off the road and into a fixed object. Although he was wearing a helmet at the time, it came off and cost him his life.
A second car accident took the life of a young male when his vehicle collided with a van. Again, the van tried to make a left turn and failed to yield for the second vehicle. Yet, upon further investigation of the accident, it seems as though both drivers were in the wrong. The young man was participating in an illegal drag race while the van driver was intoxicated at the time.
Charges have yet to be made in the second accident.
