Cause of Truck Accident Remains Uncertain

A man that has been described by family and friends as having a big heart died as a result of his own altruism. He was struck and killed by a truck while trying to catch a friend's pet dog.

According to the police report, the 43-year-old learned that his friend's beloved pet had escaped. He hopped into his truck and drove around searching for the animal. Since he drove away alone nobody is quite sure what happened that fateful night. When police arrived on the scene the victim was trapped underneath the front of his own vehicle. The dog was later found safe and sound.
