Family Mourns Loss of 6-Year-Old-Boy
One family spent the end of the year mourning the loss of a 6-year-old boy. The youngster was killed while crossing the street with his family in Phoenix, Arizona.
Police were called to the scene of the pedestrian accident last week. The driver, a female from Yuma, struck the little boy as he was trying to cross the road. Although he was still conscious when EMTs arrived on the scene, he later died at a hospital in Phoenix.
At this time police have not charged the driver. Initial reports show that speed is not believed to have been a factor in the accident. However, the investigation is not yet finished and the driver could be brought up on other charges.
