In Phoenix, a small airplane accident killed a pilot and destroyed a building at Deer Valley Airport.
Authorities say that the accident took place this week. A helicopter pilot for station 3TV said that he was flying near the plan when the accident occurred. He said the plan took a nose dive into the side of the City Wide Pest Control Building at around 6 in the morning.
A reporter on board the helicopter said that it looked like the small plane had been trying to land on Runway 7-Left, which is situated in a way that can make landings very difficult.
Firefighters arrived at the scene of the crash approximately 15 minutes after it occurred and started to put out fires. The plane was a Cirrus SR-22 four seater and the pilot was allegedly doing "touch and gos" to practice take offs and landings when the plane crashed.
