Vehicle Catches Fire after Serious Crash

This week, a violent collision in Phoenix caused a car to burst into flames on Sunday. After the auto accident, three people had to be sent to the hospital after sufferingserious injuries.

Police say that a car stopped at a red light at 32nd Street when a second vehicle traveling at a very high rate of speed hit the vehicle from behind. The car was then pushed into the intersection and caught fire.

The two people inside of the vehicle were able to get themselves out of the car as well as the driver of the second vehicle. Following the collision, all three had to be taken to a local hospital and were treated for serious injuries they had sustained as a result of the crash.

At this time, police have said that the second driver was traveling approximately 70 to 85 mph and they believe that speeding played a role in the collision.
