Truck Accident Leads to Chemical Spill

In Phoenix, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said that is currently monitoring a two vehicle accident. The collision took place on State Route 77, just north of the mining community of Mammoth in southeastern Arizona.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a pickup truck and a tractor trailer were involved in a collision with one another. The tractor trailer was transporting sulfuric acid and a tank connected to the large vehicle leaked acid onto the road.
At this time, the Arizona Department of Public Safety has moved traffic around the large truck accident and will continue to investigate.
