Numerous People Injured and One Dead after Motorcycle Accident
Local law enforcement have reported that one man is dead and three other people have suffered critical injuries after a collision involving two motorcycles as well as a pickup truck.
Last Tuesday night at 7:00 PM, police officers say they received calls from witnesses who had reported the motorcycle accident. When crews arrived, they pronounced the unidentified motorcyclist, a 63-year-old man, dead at the scene of the accident. They also said that three other motorcyclists, two women ages 26 and 43 as well as a man in his late 40s suffered injuries. At the time of the accident, no one was wearing a helmet.
Due to the severity of the collision, one of the female bikers had to be flown to St. Joseph's Hospital's trauma center because she suffered life-threatening injuries. A man and a woman were taken to a local hospital by ground.
Following the accident, the names of the victims were not released by police and it is still unclear how the accident started.
