Car Collides with Tractor Trailer on I-10
Earlier this week, the Department of Public Safety in Phoenix had to respond to a rollover accident. The motor vehicle crash occurred on I-10 eastbound at 19th Avenue.
Police say that the collision took place just after 5 PM. A car allegedly flipped over after crashing with a tractor-trailer. Following the crash, police said that the driver of the car needed to be extricated.
At this time, it is not clear how many victims were involved in the truck accident or what types of injuries were suffered.
However, it was reported that traffic was backed up for several miles at a stop and go pace. Two lanes of I-10 were also blocked while emergency response crews arrived at the scene.
