Wife Sues Hospital for Husband's Death
One woman is fighting back against the hospital where she believes her husband suffered a wrongful death.
Virgil J. Brown Jr. went in for heart surgery at Winchester Medical Center; just four months later, he passed away, and now his wife, Gail G. Brown, is claiming negligence. She filed suit at the Frederick County Circuit Court this week as the administrator of his estate.
Gail blames the two doctors who were responsible for his treatment for his sudden and rapid decline. She has thus named Selma Medical Associates and Winchester Medical Center in her wrongful death negligence lawsuit. As a result, Gail is asking for $500,000 in damages or the amount that a jury would find appropriate to cover damages incurred, injuries sustained in the past and future, as well as compensated income for the income her husband would have earned.
