Vigil Held for Car Accident Victim

Friends and family of a 29-year-old man are holding vigil at his hospital in the hopes that he will recover from his horrible auto accident. The young man had run out of gas on a major highway when he was forced to get out of the vehicle. He tried to push it over to the side when he was struck by another driver. Rather than stop to help, the driver kept going, leaving the father of two to bleed out on the pavement.

When emergency medical technicians arrived on the scene, they found that one of his legs had been severed. He has been in a coma since the hit and run accident at a hospital in San Antonio, Texas. At this time, no further details have been released about the accident.
