Speeding and Alcohol Believed to Have Caused Accident

News sources report that a 20 year old man from the city of Kingman lost his life while involved in a single-vehicle car accident this week. The car crash took place near the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, say police.

The man, Tylor Krabbe, was driving away from the area during early morning hours. A park visitor told investigators that he/she saw debris on the road about the time Krabbe was driving. A park employee found Krabbe's vehicle inside of a ravine off of the road at approximately 6:00 AM.

Police say that Krabbe had a 19 year old passenger inside of his vehicle when the crash occurred. The passenger was flown to a local hospital for treatment.

At this time, officer have reason to believe that speed and alcohol played a role in the tragic accident as they found containers of alcohol inside of the vehicle and determined that Krabbe was driving 75 MPH in a zone with a posted speed limit of 45 MPH.
