Two Lose Lives during Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle accident proved to be fatal in Phoenix last weekend.

According to Phoenix police spokesman Steve Martos, a woman and a man were riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle heading east on Bell Street when a small SUV cut in front of them. Both riders - the man in his 60s, the woman in her 50s - were taken to a local hospital. At this time the man remains in critical condition while his wife lost her life in the motorcycle accident.

Police reports show that neither rider was wearing a helmet. Although the driver of the SUV was evaluated for impaired judgment, they do not believe that to be a contributing factor to the crash. Phoenix police will continue to investigate the crash that took place late Sunday night.
