Mayor's Son May Have Caused Serious Injuries
A mayor's own son is now at the center of an internal investigation.
Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon is none too happy to learn that his own son, officer Jeffrey Gordon, could be charged with causing serious injuries. Although the investigation is far from over, Gordon has been placed on administrative leave until the authorities can attend to the charge of "inappropriate conduct."
The police department is keeping mum about the details of the alleged "inappropriate conduct" charge, but apparently it is not serious enough to be elevated to the criminal level. However, since Gordon was injured last week while using a table saw - he accidentally cut off his index and middle fingers - the investigation has been placed on hold until he is able to return from sick leave after the amputation.
