Motorcycle Accident Occurs Close to Victim's Home
Surveys show that most traffic accidents happen close to your home, meaning that you should be extra careful when either leaving or entering your neighborhood.
A man riding a motorcycle was not as cautious last week in Arizona and it cost him his life. The 65-year-old man was backing out of a residential driveway when he was struck by a car. The man was thrown to the ground and sustained fatal head injuries as a result of not wearing a helmet. However, the driver of the vehicle, a 72-year-old woman, escaped injury during the accident.
At this time, police do not think that the woman was impaired when she struck the motorcyclist. No charges have been filed against the woman whose identity will not be released to the public.
