Three Separate Accidents Reported
Three people were killed in three separate car accidents between Saturday and Sunday in one city. In the first accident, a 28-year-old man was struck by an SUV when he was crossing the street. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
Later on the same night a 24-year-old woman was killed when she apparently lost control of her Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The woman's bike went off the road and she struck a pole. The woman died from her injuries.
In a third accident in the early morning hours of the same night, a pickup truck struck a pedestrian that was apparently either sitting or lying down in the middle of a traffic lane. Police who investigated the incident say that the pickup driver was apparently sober at the time of the incident but that the pedestrian had been drinking. The final accident remains under investigation.
