Multi-Vehicle Accident Involved Horse Trailer and Towing Truck

Police are still investigating a multi-vehicle accident that injured several people and killed a horse. It appears as though two vehicles struck a truck towing a horse trailer. It is not certain who caused the accident or why it happened. According to a captain at the fire department, the horse trailer was knocked over, trapping three horses inside. While two of the horses were freed, one of the animals did lose its life. Two people involved in the accident were sent to area hospitals with serious injuries. No additional information has been released about the accident by fire officials or the police department.
