Last week, a young woman lost her life in a drunk driving accident in Cicero, Arizona. After the
car accident occurred, police arrived at the scene. Upon arriving, they noticed that a 45-year-old man had caused the accident and he was visibly under the influence of alcohol. They immediately placed him under arrest for drunk driving. Shortly thereafter, the man pleaded guilty to all of the charges that were filed against him in an Arizona court of law.
According to reports, police are still not sure just how the accident happened. What is clear is that the collision led to the death of the victim – a 17-year-old girl. When the officers learned that the man had just driven his 12-year-old son home before getting back into his car, additional charges were appended to his DUI offense. Aside from being charged with DUI, the man was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and violating Leandra's Law as well. Until his case goes to trial, the man's driving privileges have been suspended.
